Vivi Lin (San Francisco Wedding Photographer)

Hello, welcome to my website.

 

My name is “Vivi”, and I am a full-time wedding photographer based in San Francisco, CA. 

I was born in China and have studied in South Korea and the United States. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Shenzhen University's Japanese Department in 2012, and obtained my Master's degree in Korean language education from Seoul National University in 2016. During my time in South Korea, I began documenting my daily life through photography and discovered my passion for it. Determined to pursue my dreams and become a professional photographer, I enrolled in the Photography program at the Academy of Art University, where I earned my MFA degree in 2020.



While studying in the United States, I actively participated in various international competitions such as WPPI, Asiawpa, WPE, and IPC, as well as obtaining the professional qualification of photographers (MPA). With fluency in multiple languages including Chinese, Cantonese, English, Korean and Japanese, I can effectively communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds. My extensive experience living in different countries has provided me with a global perspective, which greatly influences my work.



My ultimate goal is to strike a balance between artistic integrity, commercial craftsmanship, and a distinct style that enables me to capture the full spectrum of captivating human emotions.

Wedding photography is a career in which I can witness the most important and happiest moment in people’s life. I use what I have learned and experienced to create innovative artworks with narrative elements, and my work is something I am incredibly proud of. It is really wonderful that I could turn my passion into my career. More importantly, because of photography, I have made a lot of connections and friends in different professions and walks of life, I have experienced their different love stories, and been able to share their beautiful love with others.

林學慧(Vivi Lin) 


2012年獲得深圳大學(日語系)本科學位，2016年獲得韓國首爾大學(韓國語教育學)碩士學位，2020年獲得美國舊金山藝術大學(攝影專業) MFA碩士學位。多年從事亞洲語言學研究後，最終找到了自己真正的夢想：成為一名專業&全職婚禮攝影師。

過去的作品曾登過国外多個知名婚礼杂志，如《Magnolia Rouge》《Wedding Sparrow》，《The White Wren》，《Wedding chicks》，《hey wedding lady》等。人民網（韓國），《中國美術文獻雜誌》，《Voyage LA》，《JR Model》，《La Belle kidz&Teens international fashion magazine》等多項媒體。關於個人的報道出現在中國鳳凰網，騰訊網，搜狐網等多個網站。

隨後，在短短3年内，迅速榮獲70+項國際性婚禮攝影比賽獎項。


  • 2018年6月, 獲得WPPI（國際婚禮及人像攝影師協會攝影大賽，Wedding & Portrait Photographers International）first half 1項銀獎（第二名）

  • 2018年7月, 獲得PPA（美國職業攝影師協會）舉辦的IPC（國際攝影比賽）1項優秀獎。
