Olympic Club Wedding | Peter & BRiana

As a San Francisco wedding photographer, I always love documenting celebrations that feel personal, elegant, and full of meaningful details. Briana and Peter’s wedding weekend was exactly that — beginning with an intimate rehearsal dinner at St. Francis Yacht Club, followed by a timeless wedding day at Beacon Grand Hotel, Saint Cecilia Catholic Church, and The Olympic Club.

From the nautical rehearsal dinner details to the sacred Catholic ceremony and romantic golden hour portraits, every part of their celebration felt thoughtful, stylish, and full of love. Rehearsal Dinner at St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco The celebration began with a beautiful rehearsal dinner at St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco. Because Peter is a national team rower, the yacht club felt especially meaningful for their pre-wedding gathering.

Together with their families, Briana and Peter thoughtfully styled the space with nautical details, sailboat-inspired elements, and decorative oars. With soft natural light, waterfront views, heartfelt speeches, and an intimate atmosphere, it was the perfect start to their wedding weekend.

Getting Ready and First Look at Beacon Grand Hotel Briana and Peter began their wedding day at Beacon Grand Hotel, one of San Francisco’s most iconic and classic hotels. With its old-world charm, elegant interiors, and refined city atmosphere, it was the perfect backdrop for their getting ready photos and first look. Briana looked stunning in her Monique Lhuillier gown — a clean, classic satin wedding dress that felt both modern and timeless. Paired with her soft golden-brown waves, her bridal look was effortlessly elegant and romantic, like a princess from a modern fairytale.

Their first look at Beacon Grand was full of emotion and anticipation before they headed to the church ceremony. Saint Cecilia Catholic Church Wedding Ceremony After their first look, Briana and Peter made their way to Saint Cecilia Catholic Church for a sacred and emotional Catholic wedding ceremony. Surrounded by family and close friends, their ceremony felt meaningful, timeless, and full of love. The quiet beauty of Saint Cecilia Catholic Church created such a beautiful setting for their vows — grand, intimate, and filled with heartfelt emotion.

Olympic Club Wedding Reception in San Francisco Their celebration continued at The Olympic Club, one of the most historic and scenic wedding venues in San Francisco. With its golf course views, classic architecture, and elegant atmosphere, The Olympic Club was a perfect setting for their wedding reception. Briana and Peter are such an inspiring couple. Peter is an Olympic bronze medalist in rowing, and Briana is a senior engineer at Google. They first met at Stanford University in 2020, and their love story continued to France, where Peter proposed at Mont-Saint-Michel after winning his medal at the Paris Olympics in 2024.

Golden Hour Wedding Portraits at The Olympic Club One of my favorite moments from the day was their golden hour wedding portrait session on the golf course at The Olympic Club. We were so lucky to catch the most beautiful sunset light. The golden hour was soft, warm, and romantic, wrapping Briana and Peter in the dreamiest glow. They were simply glowing.

There was so much love in their eyes and so much joy in every moment. Their sunset portraits felt romantic, warm, and effortlessly beautiful — the kind of timeless wedding photos that feel special because the emotion is so real.

Thoughtful Wedding Details Designed by the Couple What made this San Francisco wedding weekend even more special was how personal every detail felt.

Briana and Peter were deeply involved in designing their celebration, from the nautical rehearsal dinner details to the wedding day paper goods and flatlay styling. Briana personally created many of the wedding paper details and has now started her own journey as a calligrapher, which made photographing her details especially meaningful.

From the elegant bridal fashion to the custom paper goods, from the sacred church ceremony to the joyful dance floor, every part of their wedding felt intentional, stylish, and full of love. And they were not only accomplished in academics and careers — they were also incredible dancers.

A Beautiful San Francisco Wedding Weekend Briana and Peter’s wedding weekend was a beautiful reflection of who they are: intelligent, talented, kind, joyful, and deeply in love. It was truly an honor to document their rehearsal dinner at St. Francis Yacht Club and their wedding day at Beacon Grand Hotel, Saint Cecilia Catholic Church, and The Olympic Club. As a San Francisco wedding photographer, these are the celebrations that remind me why I love what I do — meaningful stories, beautiful details, genuine emotions, and timeless moments.

Congratulations, Briana and Peter. Thank you so much for trusting me to capture such an unforgettable wedding weekend.
